Chris got his hands on this 10 speed bike named 'the free spirit.' He is rebuilding it for me this summer. But I'm not allowed to see it until its done! Really Chris, you spoil me.

American Apparel Anonymous

Since being at home I've already accomplished that I never seem to be able to do when I'm at school- getting all of my laundry clean at one time. And you know what I realized? I have 11 American Apparel t-shirts..... 11! And I always want more!

They are the comfy, stylish, and come in every color! I usually buy the unisex styles because I like the way they fit. Plus American Apparel is vertically integrated so they knit, dye, sew, photograph, market, and distribute all by themselves. Pretty cool especially since that means that homebody, the ecofriendly, fare trade boutique in downtown Blacksburg carries American Apparel so I don't have to buy online. I'm an addict!

Oh hey. I'm back in Nothern VA for the summer. I'm excited for all the awesome summer plans (especially excited about seeing baby Archer this weekend!) But, I'm already missing my home of Blacksburg. Ugh. What can you do?

Summer adventures

After finals, I decided to stick around in Blacksburg for a bit. I HAD to stay to celebrate Chris's birthday, and I wanted to experience what blacksburg summer is all about. And if blacksburg summers involve spontaneous trips to play in caves and waterfalls, then I might never leave!!

Happy Birthday Old Man

Chris turned 21 yesterday. We had a blast celebrating. Chris's parents came down for a Cajun dinner downtown, and chocolate cake at my apartment. The cake was tasty- chocolate fudge cake with Nutella filling and Ganache on top. Delicious. I was so happy with how it turned out! We ended the nigh with some good friends playing some good games... And what about the fixed gear Chris wanted for his birthday? Chris's parents gave him some funds to start building his dream bike. Huzzah! Happy Brirthday Chris. You are the best.

Are finals over yet? no. You are sitting next to me at the institute library studying while I'm writing on the blog. What can you do? Can we go on an adventure soon? I'm so ready for summer, but I'm not ready to leave Blacksburg yet. I'm so glad that your Birthday gives me an excuse to stick around. You already guessed all of your gifts so you don't get any suprises. Too bad. I liked cutting your hair last night. You are my favorite, even with Mutton Chops. Did you know that this is one my favorite pictures of you (from before we were dating)?

Summer should be here now!

Well its me again. Didn't actually think I would be gone untill finals week, but final projects, papers, and a portfolio have kept me more than busy.

We have had some awesome adventures since my last big post. We went to DC, we found places to live next school year, we played a lot of crud at the institute, we canoed with Austin and Mariko and ate Giles County Korean cuisine, and we reclaimed a couch. Awesome. Expect some pictures soon!

Right now I'm counting down the days until Chris's birthday! I want to celebrate it all month next year.

Also, Chris just gave himself mutton chops. Now he looks like this!

But a little less creepy? Love you anyway!

Summer time is the best time.

Hey there blogger world!

Its me Chris,

I found out that for some reason my computer wont let me get on here now... So I stole Natalies while she's working on her portfolio. I should be studying since today was are last day in school!!! Now all we have left are exams untill summer!!

As for this summer Natalie will be going back home and working at a day camp that she's worked at before, And I'm working at a old rec job that I did two summers ago as you can see in the picture! I'll also be working at an internship for my school drawing maps for them.

I'm very excited for this summer I'll be going to visit natalie a few times and I think that she will be coming back to visit and go on more canoe trips. Also she has be formaly invited by my fam. to go on vacation with us! (should be a good time!)

This summer will be relaxing I feel like and I'm looking forward to it all the students leave B Burg and I can park where ever I want and ride my bike with no fear!
