p.s. this time I went with Austin and Mariko to a beach up in Delaware. Its the same distance as Viginia Beach but way less crowded and not so touristy. A+

Little Treasures

While treasure hunting through my parents old pictures for a top secret project, I found these little gems that made me smile.
'live from the surface of the moon'
'live voice of astronaut armstrong from surface of moon'
Holding these timy pictures in your hands is nothing like looking on a screen. That is why I love film.

Fixed gear. I followed the craze.

Hey there! I may have talked about this before but as natalie can tell you I talk about it allot... This summer I sold my road bike a purchased a fixed gear a bike that only has one gear and is directly connected to the rear wheel. This means that if the wheels are turning so are the peddles and your feet! The place where I purchased my new bike from is called Christ Cycles a bike shop based out of Richmond VA. Normally I shy away from things like this they just kinda seem to have no purpose. However with this place 100% of the profit from the bikes go to charity which just seems like a good call. So I did it! I got my bike a few weeks ago and I love it the more I ride it, I've already make several modifications to it and there will be many more to come! Anyways, you should try out a fixed gear it will change your life fo real!

(this isn't me just a cool bike)

A trip to NOVA where bad drivers roam free.

This last weekend I went up to visit Natalie and her family, I started out driving around 8am and had to stop around... 8:45 to take a nap in a gas station parking lot! Other than that I drove straight there. We started off the weekend right by taking a bike ride to old town Manassas where we looked at all of the random little shops they had to offer, including one that had a big chalk board you could draw own. Bikes were drawn. We then went to the Washington D.C temple to walk around the visitors center and the temple grounds a place that we like to go, also a place that means allot to our faith. The next day we went to a cup cake store! which was amazingly pink... Noted by Bro. Brayley. There were some awesome flavors to sample natalie was the most daring getting peach basil flavored. After that we went to a group bonfire filled with people from BYU... leaving only Natalie and I to rep Virginia Tech. On sunday Natalie had to give a talk in church so I got to listen to her!! Then we hung out with her family and played some games. It was a very successful weekend.

- Until next time

Celebrating

Today I am celebrating...

1. Living in one of the free countries in the world
2. Being born in and having many family members in other parts of the world that are free and prosperous

3. Having a fireworks show so good in Manassas that I don't feel the need to deal with DC traffic on the fourth of July

4. Having friends here that still invite me to things even though I'm lame and sometimes just want to stay home (thanks nicole and gail!)

5. Food! Especially the American flag cheesecake bars that Austin and Mariko made yesterday

6. Family!

Hope you had a happy and safe 4th!
