Summer is almost over and that is ok.

No pictures, just fun

I didn't take any pictures this weekend.

Sometimes I don't want to ruin a moment by taking out a camera. Because as soon as you start taking photos, you become the observer, not the experiencer. You focus on capturing the memory on film, and can forget to just enjoy the moment. I love pictures, I love holding my Argus photographs in my hand. But this weekend I took off and just had a fun time.

Do you ever want to put the camera away, and just enjoy?

Chris and I canoed with our church, walked downtown, shopped at a favorite store, planned adventures, and said goodbye for two weeks before we go off to the beach with his wonderful family.
